POLANDSPOŁECZNA AKADEMIA NAUK (SAN) / UNIVERSITY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES

We have been involved in other European initiatives addressing people who are defavourised in the labour market: “SHOW MI - Helping migrants to show the value of their languages to others” and another one: “Join-in-job. New means of cross cultural clearing and counselling instruments for VET in order to grant access to qualification and training for juvenile migrants”. We play special attention to gender aspects and equal chances in the labour market. For that reason we were involved in an interesting project LdV (TOI) e-Step: ‘A Step From Home To Work Place’ aimed to provide support disadvantaged and disabled women to overcome barriers and have economic freedom that was coordinated by Kayseri Kız Teknik Öğretim Olgunlaşma Enstitüsü in Turkey. We were also a partner in KA3 project ‘Web2Jobs’ - tasked with reinforcing digital competence and bridging the worlds of education and work of supporting mature, unemployed adults. Our Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Research Institute established in 2004 actively promotes innovation and entrepreneurship spirit and will contribute their experience to this project.
